Contacted after the sale of a property, told Adrien that it was sold. Three weeks later I still am getting text messages for interest on the sold property. They need to update their data base with information once it is given. However, they were polite.

Metroplex Homebuyers are FABOULOUS! But let me tell you a story first. I was not really looking to sell my home. Like actively looking to sell my home. But I was contacted by another company, and I thought sure why not investigate. Their representative came out, made me an offer, a very low one I could not accept. I reached back out 2 days later and said I would take 5K more than their offer if they wanted to make a deal. They responded back, now offering 5K less than the pathetic offer they made to begin with! I will not name this company as I have already filed a complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission. A week went by and I thought, maybe I should reach out to someone else because at this point I figured it was a good idea to sell my home. I reached out to Metroplex Homebuyers. I was immediately contacted by Brandon and we scheduled an appointment. I asked plenty of questions, and I also told him a bit of my story. Brandon assured me his company was not like that. Brandon answered all of my questions and delivered a ton of information. Then he proceeded to walk my property to review and take notes. At the end of our appointment, Brandon made an offer, one I could accept. Brandon did not try to lowball me on my home value. In fact, he was straight up with how much they could probably sell it for after they did the repairs and remodel and how much they would have to put in the property to do that. I appreciated the fact that they would make a profit, they wouldn't be doing it otherwise. But he was honest!! Honesty is extremely important when selling your home. We closed last week. I have to say, that everything went as planned. The fair offer Brandon made to me that day, was exactly what they paid for my property. No bait and switch, no dishonesty at all. We were in such a quandary. My sister was in a nursing home, her husband had died and her house was in the process of foreclosure. We didn’t have the money to repair it, and a real estate agent we consulted with suggested we contact an investor/rehabber. We really lucked out when we met Brandon Franklin of Metroplex Homebuyers. He assessed the situation and made a fair cash offer, with the closing date only 30 days away. What a relief! But Brandon went above and beyond the basic transaction. About a week before closing, we got a notice from the city that, due to the high grass in the yard, they were going to place a lien on the house. This would have stopped the sale in its tracks. The house was in Texas, and I’m in Florida. What to do? I called Brandon and, the very next day, he had the lawn mowed! Crisis averted! On the day of closing, I was able to sign the papers in Florida, thanks to a mobile notary Brandon and his title company arranged. The whole transaction was smooth and easy. UPDATE: The owner of this business reached out to me immedieately with apologies regarding the error of mailing the fire damaged property letter to my mother. His sincerity and concern have prompted me to upgrade my review to a four. My elderly mother has received multiple letters FROM Metroplex HomeBuyers LLC offering to purchase her severely fire damaged (rental) home. This property - and the others - are completely undamaged. He is clearly trying to frighten her into selling the home for pennies on the dollar! When I confronted the sender, he claims to have gotten the address from the local fire department & that I will need to contact the Watauga FD in order to get mom off his (SCAM!) mailing list! When I confronted the sender, Josh Rogan, he claimed to have gotten the address from the local fire department & that I will need to contact the Watauga FD in order to get Mom off his (SCAM!) mailing list! The Watauga Fire Chief confirmed that Josh did NOT get the info from the WFD & personnally called Mr. Rogan regarding the lie.

We would highly recommend anyone to use Metroplex Homebuyers LLC. From the first call to the final details of the sale, they were wonderful to work with and immediately got to work to make the sale happen as quickly as possible. Josh came out to view the property the next day and gave us a very good bid for a property that is appraised higher, but was very fair because it needs a lot of work. He also helped us navigate through the e-signing process and even offered to come to us if needed. Brandon was very nice and enthusiastic throughout the process. Shylia and Kelly helped make sure the taxes were paid and Shylia helped us to understand that they would not be late and that the tax office goes by the postmarked date. We have never mailed our tax payment and wanted to feel comfortable that all of that was cleared in our name. It was a wonderful experience for me. Josh made a decent offer right on the spot. I have had many people trying to buy the rental throughout the years. We wanted to sell it about 5 years ago. It was such a nightmare, we decided to go ahead and rent. We wanted to sell as is, but the buyers gave us a bunch of shady deals. We have rented that property for 20 years. We just did not want the responsibility anymore. It needed some work on it and maybe we could have gotten more. Everything was done online except showing Josh the house.
